Congratulations

...to Jim Buerk on the attainment of his Class 3 Instructor Rating after having successfully guiding and graduating a group of enthusiastic aviators to the completion of their Private Pilot's Licence.  Jim is an excellent Instructor with dedication and desire and ready and willing to work for you.  Koniiiich!

...to Bob Morwick on the successful completion of his Written PPL Examination.  With a whole lot of dedication and application to the task at hand, Bob managed to achieve an extremely excellent grade on the computer generated  100 question test of metal and is now ready to tackle the Practical Flight Test.  Well done Bob.

to Rudy Espinosa on the completion of his Radio Operator's Exam.  This is one of the first requirements to put in place before your Solo experience.  Get in line with us and check this one off of the list.  We can assist you with your PSTAR examination as well and get you ready for the big day! 

...to Will Jamieson who recently flew over 100 hours in his newly purchased Cessna 150 VLS.  Great work Will with the new Night Rating and the time on type.  Oh yeah, I forgot to mention he has only had his licence for a month!!!!

...to Doug Worth who just wrote the exam of his life.  This "teach the old dog some new tricks" guy called on some of his University Training and a whole lot of hard study time and put together a super examination result with  a 100% in Air Law and 95%'s on everything else worth mentioning.  Congratulations Doug.  The Flight test is next.

...to Sonic Chang on the completion of his Private Pilot's Licence.  With the help of a little better weather and a moment in WQO, this recently graduated from high school candidate managed to pull of a flight test that netted him his very own Pilot Licence.  Sonic has already started his night rating and is pursuing his aviation dream as he plans to achieve his Commercial Licence and fly with the Heavy Metal Boys.

...to Hayley Drummond on the completion of her Private Pilot's Licence.  Perfect results on the Ground Portion of her Flight Test led to bigger things when she took out Cessna 152 to the sky and the Sumas Practice area where the stalls and spins and turns and diversions were executed with flair and accuracy.  A registered pilot...what's next Hayley?

...to Steven Suh who recently completed all of the qualifications for the assignment of his Private Pilot's Licence.  How about a guy who completes a Bachelor of Science in Physics from SFU and then goes out and gets his Pilot's Licence within the next four months.  Committment from an excellent individual with a sense of purpose and direction.  Steven is now enrolled in the Night Rating Program and is polishing up on his skills in a 172 so that he can take family and friends for that $100 pie in Chilliwack.  Congrats Steve.

...Float Ratings galore at Pacific Rim Aviation.  Three Ratings completed last week alone.  Congratulations to Ariel Holtz, Don Patrick, and Barry Murphy on the completion of their seven hour float ratings in our Cessna 172, GKPD. Give us a call and work through the flying for a great experience on the water.  Fly with our excellent Instructor, James Stevens and have a great time on the water and our local lakes.

...During the past few months Pacific Rim Aviation Academy's float program completed the 7 Hour Basic Seaplane Rating for 13 Pilots. 

...for your written examinations.  We have a super examination centre and a great opportunity to write the exam on your  terms.  We are open from 7:00 a.m. until you are ready to go home. Give us a call for your requirements and we'll do what we can for you including a briefing before the exam guaranteed to clean up some of the corners that you are worried about.
